The Agilent 7890A gas chromatography system is equipped with single quadrupole mass spectrometer (MSD) and a flame ionization detector (FID). This system is ideally suited for analysis of volatile compounds. Identification can be achieved according to retention time and the mass spectral data compared to the NIST database. The MSD uses an electron impact (EI) source to ionize the molecules and a single quadrupole and an electron multiplier to detect the compounds that elute from the GC. Both single ion monitoring (SIM) and scanning acquisition modes are available with a mass range 1.6-1050 u. Sample can be introduced either through the automated liquid sampler or the headspace sampler.

Teledyne Combiflash NextGen 300+ automated flash chromatography system for purification of organic compounds. Dedicated systems for normal and reverse phase chromatography.

Removes solvents via sublimation, using the absorption of heat by the frozen sample in order to vaporize the solid solvent. Vacuum suction is used to enhance this process, while a condenser cools the solvent vapour into ice for later disposal. Removes water, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), low concentrations of acetonitrile and formic acid.

The Biotage TurboVap LV is a nitrogen supplied evaporation system that removes solvent using a vortex shearing technology. Up to 48 samples can be evaporated simultaneously ranging in volume from 1.5mL to 15 mL. Can accommodate most organic solvents.

The Agilent 1290 Infinity II Autoscale Preparative LC/MSD System enables analytical scouting and gram-level purification of target compounds. The automated purification software enables method transfer from analytical to preparative-scale purification. DAD or mass-selective fraction triggering.

The Heidolph Rotavap is used for the efficient and gentle removal of solvents by evaporation. Handles large volumes and any kind of solvent.
